I’m so glad we’ve connected. I’m guessing you might be going through a challenging time, and that’s why you’ve clicked on my link. Life can feel overwhelming at times, can’t it?

One of the ways I’ve helped people reduce stress and regain control is by introducing them to the Take Back Control of the Chaos Daily Planner. Whether this is your first attempt at getting organised or your hundredth, I want to reassure you that when you apply this tool, it’s different.

I’m a list person. But when those lists get too long, overwhelm creeps in, and procrastination follows. Sound familiar?

Years ago, I discovered that by breaking my day into smaller chunks and assigning specific tasks to time slots, I instantly became more focused and, surprisingly, a lot more productive.

The secret?
Allocating 15 minutes to commence and or complete a task.

This allows you to focus all your energy on the task at hand, without leaving any room for doubt or distraction to stop you from taking the next step.

When I’m in my flow, accomplishing things, I feel amazing—it’s one of the reasons I’m a little easier to be around. 😉

So how does it work?

Step 1 - Brain Dump

Start by emptying your mind onto a piece of paper. Write down everything you want, need, or think should happen. This becomes your running to-do list.

Step 2 - Print your Planner

Decide on a block of time (for example, 10 am–2 pm, or 7 pm–9:30 pm). Begin with short, manageable blocks of time to set yourself up for some quick wins.

Step 3 - Allocate Tasks

Assign specific tasks to each 15-minute block.

Step 4 - Set your Alarm

Set a 15-minute timer and work as efficiently as you can to start or complete the task. You may surprise yourself with how quickly you knock out tasks you’ve been avoiding.

Step 5 - Next level (optional)

Take it a step further by planning tomorrow’s tasks the night before. Watch how your productivity skyrockets!
